Game Design 

This outlines the different physical elements of the game and the use of each. The link provided allows you to download the game manual.

The Board

The board is made up of 3-rings. In order to enter the next ring, the player must defeat the ring boss. Each ring has a boss that activates after one of the players has had 3 turns on that specific ring. The center piece is the goal, where only one player can enter and win the game.

Party Members

Party members are gained throughout the duration of play. They can be gained through resources or events, as well as special spaces. There is a maximum number of party members a character can have, which may increase throughout gameplay. Each party member has strengths, and some have weaknesses. Both will affect the gameplay of each player.

Resources

Resources can be gained multitude of ways. They can be gained as a reward for defeating an enemy or found after accessing a hacking terminal. Resources can include gaining a new party member or even a bypass card that allows the player to avoid an event space.

Critical Error 

Critical Errors occur when a player has failed to defeat an enemy ambush. These can include a variety of negative effects from simple setbacks, like moving back a few spaces, or even the loss of multiple party members or the player's life.

Enemies

Throughout the game, the player will encounter enemies in a variety of ways. Enemies can be encountered when ambushed on a space or during an event. OTher players can also enforce an ambush on a player if they have a card giving them that ability. A boss fight is separate from an enemy ambush.

events

events occur when a player lands on an event space or a random effect forces a player to pull an event card. Events could be good or bad. A player could be ambushed by an enemy, but they could also give the player resources.

Boss Fights

After at least one player has had 3 turns on a ring of the board, that ring's boss becomes active. When a player passes by the space after that they must either pass a hide check or encounter the boss. If they land on the space, they cannot perform a hide check.

Safe room

The final goal is to reach the middle of the board which is also known as the safe room. when one player reaches this space, the entire game ends and all other players die.
